LifeGroups

Life Group is the name for cells or small groups of young people at Encounter.

They are designed for those who want to go deeper with God and experience real community. LifeGroups should be a place where no-one stands alone and where everyone is committed to helping each other love God more, love each other more and love the lost more.

They are a place to study God’s word in a more in-depth way, and to worship Him in a small group setting – but as the name suggests these groups are designed for more than that, they are designed for doing life together. Sharing everyday experiences, walking in community and accountability as well as walking with God.

Our Vision for Lifegroups in 09/10...

is to see each group grow by 5 young people and multiply into new Lifegroups so that our overall Encounter vision of seeing young people become, grow and make disciples move from a vision to a reality.

Each lifegroup consists of no more than twelve young people and different groups meet at various times and locations, on a weekly or fourtnightly basis. For more information please email Lifegroup leaders below, ask a member of the Encounter team or contact the Encounter office on 028 90808389.
